Day 1 | Up to Wacken
It's Tuesday we are completing together in Arnhem. Location apartment my brother. I drove first up to Brunssum to pickup a friend and than we drove up to Arnhem. We shopped some for food and ate a pizza before we left to Wacken. We left at 20:15h and we arrived in Wacken at 02:00h ( the Wednesday when the camping went open )

We put up our tents and went to sleep because of our long journey that day.

Day 2 | Getting our wrist bands
It's Wednesday the first official camp day we could get our wristband this day from 8 o'clock in the morning. After we did this we changed our tents and parked the car some different because we wanted to put up our Party tent to sit under when it rained or when the sun was to hard.

Some drunk to much today and knocked out so they slept good after dinner. Our first band was Fejd we that we saw on the Medieval stage. It was nice to see. Further we met a friend of a friend who traveled with us.

Day 3 | First official Festival Day
Today it was rainy and some sun. Before Wacken I looked at the couch surfing site if there where people going to Wacken and indeed some went. And one of them arranged a meeting at Wacken. I joint with 2 friends this meeting and they came from cross Europe and south America. It was a nice meeting and we watched some bands together. During this day.

Day 4 | Heavy burning sun...
Today it was pretty warm our party tent died a day earlier so we had not place to shelter for the sun today. To bad how ever there where some nice bands like Epica, In Flames, we watched them a bit. more bands we saw but forgot to remember.

Day 5 | Last day of the festival
Today it would be a long day to see the bands we wanted to see. Machinehead, Volbeat, Pain this was a long nice day to see. Machinehead and Volbeat where very awesome to see and to hear.

Day 6 | The day of the ride back home
We left Wacken at a very early stage 7:05h in the morning. We drove up to Hamburg, but because of the road shutdowns we had to travel different. We drove up to Hanover. During the morning we wanted some burger king as breakfast how ever the first burger king we saw was closed. So we took some healthy breakfast and some coke for drink. Finally we arrived in Arnhem at 13:00h pretty nice our first timing was 11:45h with out breakups of the road.

Friends of us left Wacken at 10:00h in the morning and the arrived in The Netherlands around 18:45h they had a lot of heavy traffic.
